Delight Ministries
At Howard University, Maya serves as the Social Media Coordinator for Delight Ministries - a Christ-centered community for college women. She loves to express her creativity through videos and graphics in order to bring students to Jesus. Her favorite thing is when girls say they found Delight on Instagram!
b.o.l.d.ministries
Maya is the CEO of b.o.l.d.ministries, an online Christian youth organization with the mission of bringing together a community of teenagers in the presence of Jesus Christ while being confident in our faith.
b.o.l.d. stands for brave, obedient, loved, and determined and this company strives to demonstrate these characteristics through short films, interactive lessons, and community service projects.
Faith Ministries Church
As an active member of Faith Ministries Church since she was born, Maya has always been involved in ministry. In high school, she led the church's Youth Ministry through Sunday services, lock-ins, and field trips. Also, Maya serves on the praise team and loves to worship our Father in song. Despite living in D.C., Maya will virtually be taking the lead on a new era - the Young Adults Ministry.
The District Church
When Maya moved to Washington, D.C., she was in search of her college church home. During her freshman year, she encountered nothing short of a divine intervention that led her to The District Church. Now, she actively takes part in the college ministry as she assists in social media content.
